WOWGROWAlgae contains a small but effective amount of these hormones:

Gibberellins

  • Any of a group of plant hormones that stimulate stem elongation, germination, and flowering.
  • The more than 70 types of gibberellins regulate plant growth activity and work with both the bacterial and fungal matter in soil.
  • Breakdown of amylase by enzymes that dissolve starch and sugars help seed germination.
  • Coconut milk and yeast extracts are good sources of gibberellins.
  • Gibberellins were discovered and have been researched in Japan having been used throughout Asia (Thailand, China, India, Philippines). Gibberellins have improved the rice yield in these areas by a factor of 200 – 400% (cyanophyte-type of Blue-Green Algae used).
  • Gibberellins have the same characteristics as WOWGROW. Clinical practices and observations illustrate a parallel between the two, including the following:
  • Earlier and shorter germination time is stimulated by improved seed growth.
  • Naturally occurring plant hormones are produced. Regulating temperature stress is key. 
  • They both encourage and help regulate the plant environment for their optimum growth.
  • Both promote stem and root growth which lead to fuller plant girth via roots. Roots attain a wider & fuller base to support additional growth. This process enhances cell elongation.
  • Algae contain molecular growth hormones which encourage flowering and fruit ripening.
  • Increased tilth and growth of plants. This is due to increased root growth & soil interaction.

Cytokinins

  • Cytokinins are plant hormones that promote bud growth and cell division in plant roots.
  • They are found in bacteria which exist at the roots where cell division occurs. From there, cytokinins travel up the plant. They help transport nutrients throughout the plant.
  • Cytokinins have resistance to high and low temperature extremities. Blue-Green Algae has a long history of helping to ameliorate temperature extremities.

Auxins

  • Growth inhibitors that regulate stomata closure of plant.
  • Auxins promote cell elongation and nutrient mobilization as do gibberellins and cytokinins.
  • Auxins and cytokinins help prevent excess root growth while encouraging bud development.

Abscisic Acid

  • A plant hormone that mitigates and regulates water loss and other stresses.
  • Fortifies against temperature extremities.
  • Works with the above three growth regulators to balance the plant environment.

All four growth regulators contain polysaccharides (long chain sugars), betaine (crystalline amino acid compounds in juice plants), and micronutrients (vitamins/minerals to promote growth and a healthy metabolism). Certain plant hormones regulate other kinds of growth hormones.
